1) Probe ordered after Nowgam police station blast

A probe was ordered after an accidental blast at Nowgam police station killed nine people and injured thirty two. Police denied any terror link. The blast occurred during sample extraction from seized explosives. The Chief Minister promised support and compensation. Senior officials paid floral tributes to the victims.

2) PDP cancels event after Nowgam tragedy

The PDP Bhaderwah unit cancelled its victory celebration after the fatal Nowgam blast. Party members observed two minutes of silence and prayed for the victims of the Srinagar explosion and the recent Delhi blast. They wished strength for bereaved families and a quick recovery for all injured persons.

3) Vijay urges people to verify voter names in Tamil Nadu

Vijay urged Tamil Nadu citizens to urgently check their names on the voter list. He warned that many eligible voters are missing during the Special Intensive Revision. Sail allegedly used foreign entities and accounts to hide proceeds. His assets worth Rs 21 crore were attached.

5) Rohini Acharya quits politics after RJD defeat

Rohini Acharya announced she is leaving politics and distancing herself from her family after the RJD defeat. She hinted Sanjay Yadav pushed her toward this step. Her move highlights growing rifts as Tej Pratap formed a separate party and lost. Her social media posts had already signalled deep frustration.

6) BJP suspends three Bihar leaders after poll win

The BJP suspended RK Singh Ashok Agarwal and Usha Agarwal for anti party activities after its Bihar victory. Singh resigned immediately. The party issued notices seeking explanations within a week. Singh had criticised NDA leaders and questioned candidate credibility. A former minister he lost in 2024 and grew increasingly vocal since then.
