After earning critical praise and strong box office results, the much-anticipated courtroom drama Jolly LLB 3 is making headlines once more, this time for its imminent digital release.
The film, which features a highly-awaited face-off between the franchise’s two beloved legal eagles—Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi—is reportedly set to begin streaming simultaneously on two major OTT platforms, Netflix and Jio Hotstar, starting November 14, 2025.
The theatrical release of the film, directed by Subhash Kapoor, was on September 19, 2025, which means the rumored digital premiere falls within the standard six-to-eight-week window following a movie’s run in cinemas.
The Epic Legal Face-Off
Jolly LLB 3 brings together the two “Jolly” lawyers for the first time on screen: Jagdishwar ‘Jolly’ Mishra (Akshay Kumar) from the second installment and Jagdish ‘Jolly’ Tyagi (Arshad Warsi) from the original film.
The plot of the third installment addresses a politically charged land-grabbing case. Akshay Kumar’s Jolly Mishra takes on a senior political figure, while Arshad Warsi’s Jolly Tyagi represents the complainants. Their rivalry shifts when they encounter Janaki, a farmer’s widow fighting for justice after a large real estate company illegally seizes her property.
The ensemble cast also features franchise stalwart Saurabh Shukla returning as Judge Tripathi, alongside Amrita Rao, Huma Qureshi, Seema Biswas, and Gajraj Rao.
Box Office and Future Lineup
The film, which secured a U/A 16+ certificate with a runtime of 2 hours, 37 minutes, and 16 seconds, was a commercial success, reportedly grossing over ₹115 crore at the domestic box office.
For Akshay Kumar, the film adds to a successful 2025 slate that included Sky Force and Kesari Chapter 2. The actor is now gearing up for a busy 2026-2027, with upcoming projects including a reunion with director Anees Bazmee, as well as three collaborations with Priyadarshan: Bhooth Bangla, Haiwaan, and Hera Pheri 3.
As fans prepare to stream the courtroom drama at home, the battle between the two charismatic lawyers is set for a whole new audience.
