Barron Trump, the 19-year-old son of President Donald Trump and a sophomore at New York University, is apparently getting bad evaluations on the Tea dating advice app that women use to check out men and warn others about them.
The Daily Mail said that Barron is “being slandered” on the site after he purportedly closed off an entire level of the Manhattan Trump Tower last month for a private date. A source informed Page Six that this was done for “security reasons.”
Bad Review of the Tea App
The Tea app is meant to help women “date safely” by letting verified users share pictures of males they have met. If someone knows of “bad” behavior, other users can then leave reviews or “red flags” for that person.
A comment that was supposedly about Barron Trump on the app contained very harsh slang:
Original Comment: “messy, played in my face, definitely dl, ran through, chopped.”
The Daily Mail translated the comment as: “Barron is a dramatic person who acted dumb while being rude.” He didn’t want anyone to know about our relationship because we had sex and then I didn’t hear from him again. He wasn’t good-looking.
Eric Trump’s thoughts on Barron’s love life
Eric Trump, Barron’s older brother, talked about Barron’s dating life and the news that he shut down a floor of Trump Tower during an appearance on the PBD Podcast.
Eric commended Barron, calling him “above his years” and a “amazing” person, although he was afraid to say more:
“Oh, god,” on dating advice. You don’t want to hear the dating advice I gave Barron.
On Secrecy: “God, I don’t know. The 41-year-old remarked, “I’m going to get myself in so much trouble.”
Eric did, however, talk about the rumored floor lockdown at Trump Tower. He joked about the security measure, saying, “Honestly, shutting down a floor of Trump Tower is like PG-13 compared to where my mind would have been at his age in terms of dating.”
