Markets Today: Nifty To Open Lower; FPIs Stay Net Sellers, Asia Stocks Weak

Mumbai, Sept. 24: The GIFT Nifty was down 0.1% to 25,193 at 7:00 a.m., which meant that the Nifty 50 would start off worse following three straight days of losses.

A Look Back at the Domestic Market

India’s main stock indexes fell again on Tuesday:

The NSE Nifty 50 closed down 0.13% at 25,169.50.

The BSE Sensex fell 0.07% at 82,102.10.

Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) sold more shares than they bought for the second session in a row, valued ₹3,551.19 crore.

For the 21st session in a row, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) kept purchasing, putting in ₹2,670.87 crore.
