Delhi Government To Deploy 75 Drones With PM Modi’s Photo For Birthday Celebration

NEW DELHI — On Monday, the Delhi government announced that it would send 75 customized drones to Tyagraj Stadium to honor Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday on September 17. As part of the celebration, each drone will have a picture of the Prime Minister on it.

An official said that students at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology in Delhi made the drones. After the show, the Delhi Police will get these drones. Each of the city’s districts would get five drones. Female police officers have been given specific training to fly the drones for security and surveillance reasons to help with this project.

The Department of Technical and Training Education made 15 high-end models that are part of the fleet. The municipal government is launching a number of initiatives and projects as part of the “Sewa Pakhwada” (Fortnight of Service) campaign, which runs from September 17 to October 2. This drone project is one of them. The campaign is part of a bigger plan by the Delhi government to carry out 75 projects, plans, and activities in honor of the Prime Minister’s birthday.

The Delhi administration talked about other important parts of the campaign in a previous release on Saturday. These include the opening of an Organ Transplant and Awareness Portal, the start of an inter-state bus service, and the addition of 100 more buses. The campaign also includes large infrastructure projects like making transportation routes more efficient.

The Delhi administration is showing its dedication to public service by giving these projects as a “gift” to the citizens of the capital to honor the event.
