Former FBI Agent Suggests ‘Sniper Rifle’ Used In Charlie Kirk’s ‘Certain Kill Shot’

OREM, UTAH — A retired FBI agent named Katherine Schweit has come up with a notion about the nature of the attack as the search for the person who shot and killed Charlie Kirk goes on. Kirk, who is 31 years old and the founder of Turning Point USA, was shot while giving a speech at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. He is a well-known supporter of President Donald Trump.

Schweit, who worked for the FBI for 20 years, told media that the shot probably came from a sniper rifle or something like it. She thinks the pistol was “probably benched,” which means it was placed up in a stationary position, because the shot was supposedly taken from about 200 yards away.

Schweit added that the shooter’s goal was to deliver a “certain kill shot,” which she argues is a sign of how a sniper works. She also said that the attacker would have had to find a place to put up the weapon without being seen, and that they probably shot Kirk while he was sitting still in a tent. The video shows Kirk seated in a tent when a bullet hits him in the neck from the side.

The shooting that killed Kirk happened while he was answering questions. Someone in the audience questioned, “Do you know how many mass shooters there have been in America in the last 10 years?” according to footage that are going around online. “Counting or not counting gang violence?” Kirk was in the middle of his answer when the shot rang out.

There were conflicting reports regarding whether a suspect had been arrested, but FBI Director Kash Patel later made it clear that someone had been questioned and released. The investigation is still going on. The suspect is still on the loose.
