Dhanashree Verma, a dancer and social media star, has talked openly about the emotional and professional problems she had while married to cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. In a new video with filmmaker Farah Khan, Dhanashree talked about how hard it is to balance her job goals with the obligations of her married life and all the travel she has to do.
Farah Khan asked Dhanashree how marriage affected her job, and she said it wasn’t simple at all. “To be honest, ma’am, it does get hard because I had to travel.” “I had to go to Gurgaon and then come back to Mumbai to pick things up again,” she said, showing how her life in Mumbai and her husband’s life were always changing. “It was hard, but my mom taught me that you have to do it.” So, I know I’ve done everything I can.
Dhanashree also said that her parents were heartbroken about the breakdown of her marriage, but that the tremendous public attention was even harder for them to deal with. Even if there were problems, she said that both she and Yuzvendra had dealt with them with grace and moved on. “Both have accepted everything with grace and moved on. Now we wish each other well,” she said. Dhanashree and Yuzvendra Chahal had a brief affair and got married in 2020. Their marriage lasted four years, and they got divorced in March 2025. Even though they broke up, both sides have always said that their breakup was friendly and that they still respect each other.
