Wednesday Season 2: Lady Gaga’s New Single ‘The Dead Dance’ To Release On THIS Date

This week will be great for anybody who like the hit Netflix show Wednesday and pop music. Lady Gaga said during a “Graveyard Gala” event in New York City on August 28 that her new single, “The Dead Dance,” will come out on Wednesday, September 3, the same day as the second half of Wednesday Season 2. The event was sponsored by Netflix and Spotify.

The event had a gloomy, Tim Burton-like feel to it, with foggy hallways and spooky decorations that made Gaga’s big entrance even more spectacular. She walked the red carpet with Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers, and Joy Sunday from Wednesday. She was wearing an outfit that was quite modern.

Her new song is based on the success of her 2011 hit “Bloody Mary,” which became a worldwide hit after a fan-made TikTok dance video based on the first season of the program went viral. Lady Gaga will also be in the program as Rosaline Rotwood, a shady instructor at Nevermore Academy who becomes friends with Wednesday.

Gaga told Tudum on Netflix that the song was about a breakup. “It was all about how we feel when it’s over and how a relationship ending can make us lose hope in love,” she remarked.

A lot of people are talking about the news on social media, and Netflix confirmed it by saying, “You heard it from Mother Monster.” On September 3, Lady Gaga’s new single, “The Dead Dance,” will come out. It will be in Part II of Wednesday. The agreement is a major win for the program since it builds on the immense buzz it received online during its first season.
