Today, August 24, 2025, Bigg Boss 19 is ready to commence. The stage is set for a new season of India’s most controversial reality show. Bollywood actor Salman Khan is back as the host, and he brings his own style and sense of humor to the event. This year’s idea will be different from last year’s.
At 9 PM IST, JioHotstar will stream the major launch live. This will be the first time people can see the new house and the individuals who will live there. You can watch the show on Colors TV at 10:30 PM if you like TV, but it will be late.
This season’s theme is “Gharwalon Ki Sarkar,” which means “The Housemates’ Government.” It’s a major difference from former years. The individuals who developed the show say that the new format would turn the house into a “democracy,” where the competitors will have most of the power to make decisions. In a clip, Salman Khan gave a sneak peek of the new theme by saying, “Iss baar Bigg Boss ke ghar mein drama crazy nahi, democrazy hoga.”
The whole list of participants is still a closely kept secret, although some of their names have been revealed through ads and news pieces. It is believed that Gaurav Khanna, a famous TV actor, Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirajkar, two famous social media stars, and Amaal Mallik, a musician, would all be there. There is also a twist in the show called “Fans Ka Faisla,” when the audience votes on whether YouTuber Mridul Tiwari or artist Shehbaz Badesha will come into the house.
Fans may also look forward to a special dance performance by Salman Khan and a surprise visit from actress Swara Bhasker, who is rumored to be a special guest on the night of the premiere.
