Manoj Bajpayee and Jim Sarbh, two of the most powerful performers in the world, are going to work together to bring the real-life cat-and-mouse chase between Mumbai police investigator Madhukar Zende and the infamous serial killer Charles Sobhraj to the big screen. The new show, called Inspector Zende, will only be available on Netflix. It will tell the interesting story of the determined officer who caught the clever “Bikini Killer” not once, but twice.
The show is based on historical events, albeit not very closely. It follows Inspector Madhukar Zende, a hero who caught Charles Sobhraj, also known as the “Bikini Killer,” after he fled from Tihar Jail in the 1980s. During the 1970s, Sobhraj was a charming and seductive serial murderer who targeted Western visitors in Asia. Zende had caught him earlier, in 1971, but he got away. Zende, on the other hand, never gave up. He ultimately found him in a restaurant in Goa, where he was arrested and sent to jail for good.

The series has a great cast and a talented group of writers and directors. Manoj Bajpayee, who is noted for his ability to play a wide range of roles, will play Inspector Madhukar Zende, the “warrior without a crown” who was dedicated to his service. Jim Sarbh, who is known for being able to play complicated characters, will play the villain, Carl Bhojraj, who is based on Charles Sobhraj. This will highlight how charming and manipulative the killer is.
