Mumbai, July 17: Acclaimed actor Pratik Gandhi is stepping into the world of espionage with his latest project, ‘Saare Jahan Se Accha’, an intense and gripping spy thriller set in the 1970s. The high-stakes series, which will stream exclusively on Netflix from August 13, promises suspense, drama, and powerful performances.
In the series, Gandhi plays Vishnu Shankar, a dedicated intelligence officer navigating the fine line between national duty and personal morality. The plot unfolds during a covert mission where secrecy, timing, and courage are key to national interest.
Speaking about the role, Gandhi shared, “With ‘Saare Jahan Se Accha’, we’ve built a world that’s urgent, intense, intimidating, and full of quiet tension. Playing intelligence officer Vishnu Shankar, someone who walks the tightrope between duty and morality, was one of the most challenging roles I’ve taken on. I can’t wait for the audience to step into this world of espionage with us!”
The ensemble cast also includes Sunny Hinduja, Suhail Nayyar, Kritika Kamra, Tillotama Shome, Rajat Kapoor, and Anup Soni. The series is created by Gaurav Shukla, produced by Bombay Fables, and directed by Sumit Purohit, with creative direction by Bhavesh Mandalia.
