Paris Olympics: Nita Ambani Meets FIFA President During Opening Ceremony Of ‘India House’

Paris (France) : International Olympic Committee (IOC) member and chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, Nita Ambani, met FIFA president Gianni Infantino during the opening ceremony of the inaugural India House.

The India House was inaugurated on Saturday at the Paris Olympics.

India House, a collaborative initiative between the Reliance Foundation and the Indian Olympic Association (IOA), aims to support Indian athletes, bolster national sports federations, and enhance India’s reputation as a global sporting nation with aspirations to host the Olympic Games in the future.

The inauguration ceremony saw the presence of notable personalities, including Executive Director of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited, Isha Ambani, Executive Director of the Piramal Group, Anand Piramal, BCCI secretary Jay Shah, Olympic gold medalist Abhinav Bindra, and the Ambassador of India to France, Jawed Ashraf.

Radico Khaitan, a key partner of India House, reaffirms its commitment to India’s sporting future. Through this partnership, Radico Khaitan aims to boost national morale and showcase India’s rich heritage and culture to a global audience.

India House serves as a platform for India to display its culture, hospitality, and national pride to athletes, media, visitors, and supporters. It provides a “home away from home” for athletes and their families during the Games, offering a place for fans to gather for event watch-parties and celebrations. In some instances, medal-winning athletes may also make appearances, adding to the excitement.

India House will be a showcase of India to the world, reaching out to fans, key stakeholders in the global sports community, Indian travelers, media, and athletes. It symbolizes the country’s commitment to celebrating its sporting achievements and supporting its sportspersons at the Olympics.
