Actor and singer Shruti Haasan revealed on Tuesday that her X (formerly Twitter) account has been hacked, following a string of unusual and unauthorized posts shared through her official handle.

Shruti took to her Instagram to alert her fans and followers, issuing a warning not to engage with any suspicious links or content coming from her X account.
She wrote:

“Hi lovelies, just want to let you know my Twitter account has been hacked. That’s not me posting so don’t interact with that page till I’m back 🙏❤️.”
Earlier in the day, several bizarre posts, including content related to bitcoin and other promotional material, appeared from her verified profile, raising concern among her followers. The last legitimate post from her account, dated June 23, read:
“Am I the only one who feels way happier and way more uplifted and positive when the weather is gloomy and rainy? I can’t be the only one… makes me want write things and move hearts.”
Recent Appearance: Thug Life Audio Launch
Shruti recently drew praise for her powerful live performance at the audio launch of Thug Life in Chennai, where she sang “Vinveli Nayaga” in front of an audience that included music maestro AR Rahman and the film’s cast. The film marked the long-awaited reunion of Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan, nearly three decades after their iconic film Nayakan. However, despite high expectations, Thug Life underperformed at the box office following its release earlier this month.
Upcoming Project: Coolie
On the professional front, Shruti Haasan is set to appear in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s upcoming action thriller Coolie. The film is produced by Kalanithi Maran’s Sun Pictures and boasts a star-studded cast including Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Upendra, Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir, Sundeep Kishan, and Reba Monica John.
Fans are advised to remain cautious and wait for official updates from Shruti once her account is restored.
