Miley Cyrus has dropped a powerful new single titled “More to Lose”, accompanied by an emotionally charged music video that showcases her vulnerability and evolving artistry. The track, featuring Cyrus’ raw vocals and poignant lyrics, is the fourth release from her highly anticipated ninth studio album, Something Beautiful, due out on May 30.
In the visually arresting video, Cyrus dons high-fashion ensembles—including a dramatic black gown—as she sings directly to the camera, shedding tears over a failing relationship. The video complements the song’s themes of heartbreak and introspection, delivering a stirring performance.
During a recent Spotify event in New York, where she previewed the album and an upcoming film, Cyrus reflected on her deep connection with fans, saying, “People say we grew up together, and we really did.”
The accompanying film, inspired in part by Pink Floyd’s The Wall but reimagined with a modern and glamorous edge, will premiere at the Tribeca Festival on June 6. It aims to blend Cyrus’ music with storytelling in a powerful new format, highlighting her artistic transformation and emotional journey.
