He announced ex-gratia compensation of ₹2 lakh from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for the families of each deceased and ₹50,000 for those injured.

State Government’s Response:
🔹 Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel also expressed his grief and announced ₹4 lakh in financial assistance to the families of the deceased, and ₹50,000 for the injured. He assured that the state government is closely monitoring the relief, rescue, and treatment operations.
“I am in constant touch with the administration regarding the relief, rescue and treatment operations. The state government will provide ₹4 lakh to the families of the deceased and ₹50,000 to the injured,” Patel stated.
Police Action and Investigation:
🔹 Banaskantha Police have registered a case under Section 304 (causing death by negligence) and have formed five teams to identify and nail those responsible for the tragedy. Authorities are investigating the incident thoroughly.
