Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Pledges To Transform Capital Into A Hub Of Health And Education

New Delhi [India], March 14: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta emphasized her government’s commitment to transforming the national capital into a center of excellence in “health and education.” Expressing her support for the Modi government, Gupta assured that the people of Delhi would finally receive the rights they were denied in recent years.

“We are members of Team Modi. We have a mission to make Delhi healthy and educated. We should give Delhi the rights it has not received for the past few years,” Gupta said in her statement.

Criticizing the previous Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, Gupta mentioned that many people were leaving Delhi due to the mismanagement by the former administration. “People come to Delhi from outside to build a better future for their families. However, due to the actions of the previous government, people had started leaving Delhi,” she remarked.

Gupta also praised the “double-engine government” in Delhi, which aims to work cohesively without shifting blame. She stressed that honesty, clear intentions, and strong policies are essential for progress. “If one works honestly, intentions and policies should remain clear. If you work with integrity, nothing is impossible. The previous government did nothing for Delhi,” Gupta asserted.

The Delhi CM further explained that her approach to governance is hands-on, saying, “When the Chief Minister works from morning till evening wearing the same saree, when 48 MLAs are on the road, then the work will be done.”

Earlier on Friday, Gupta expressed her gratitude to the people of Delhi for their support, stating that her role as the Chief Minister filled her with pride. She pledged to bring prosperity and happiness to the city while reinforcing her vision of a better future for Delhi.

Meanwhile, Delhi Assembly Deputy Speaker Mohan Singh Bisht echoed similar sentiments, saying that after 27 years, Delhi finally has the government it deserves. “We promise that Delhi will glow like the colors of Holi,” he said.
