New Delhi [India]: The newly formed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government in Delhi, under Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, will table 14 reports by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) in the second session of the Delhi Assembly on Tuesday.
The reports are expected to reveal financial irregularities and alleged corruption under the previous Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government.
BJP Leaders React to CAG Reports
Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva stated:
“The CAG report is a list of AAP’s black deeds. We promised the people of Delhi during the elections that those responsible for corruption would be held accountable. Today, when the report is tabled, all their scams will be exposed.”
Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa further added:
“Arvind Kejriwal had hidden these reports for the last 3 years. Today, these 14 reports will be presented one by one, revealing the scams of his government.”
Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh commented:
“AAP’s governance has been disastrous. Most of their ministers are in jail. The CAG reports on all their ministries will expose everything.”
