Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh), February 24: The ongoing Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj continues to witness an extraordinary gathering of devotees, and this year, several celebrities have also participated in the sacred rituals. Actor Akshay Kumar was among the notable figures to partake in the revered holy dip at the Triveni Sangam on Monday.
Expressing his gratitude for the well-organized arrangements, Kumar lauded the improvements made since the last Kumbh in 2019. After completing the ritual, the actor shared his appreciation, stating, “I thank CM Yogi ji for making such good arrangements here. The facilities are excellent, and everything is so well-managed.”
Recalling his experience from the 2019 Kumbh, Kumar said, “I still remember when the Kumbh took place in 2019, people used to bring their own gathri (bundle of belongings)… but now many influential personalities like Ambani, Adani, and famous actors are coming. This shows how good the arrangements are.”
The actor also took the opportunity to thank the officials and security personnel involved in the event, saying, “I want to thank all the officials and security personnel for taking care of everyone here. They have ensured the safety and comfort of all the devotees.”
