Uttarakhand Municipal Elections Witness 56.81% Voter Turnout

The Uttarakhand Municipal Corporation elections recorded a 56.81% voter turnout by 4 pm on Thursday, as confirmed by Election Commission Secretary Rahul Kumar Goyal. Voting took place across 11 municipal corporations, 43 municipal councils, and 46 Nagar Panchayats.

  • Bageshwar: 57.71%
  • Chamoli: 58.92%

  • Haridwar: 60.85%

Polling continued smoothly without any reported adverse incidents. All voters present at polling booths by 5 pm were allowed to cast their votes.
