J-Hope of BTS Announces First-Ever Solo World Tour

Washington [US], January 15: K-pop superstar J-Hope, a member of BTS, has officially announced his first solo world tour, titled Hope on the Stage. The 30-year-old rapper will visit 15 cities across the globe, including six in North America, marking a major milestone as he takes the stage as a solo artist for the first time in his career.

The news was shared by Hybe, the parent company of BTS’ label BigHit Music, on January 15. J-Hope also revealed the exciting announcement through his official Instagram, much to the delight of his fans.

The tour will kick off with three nights in Seoul before heading to North America, where J-Hope will perform in major cities including New York, Chicago, Mexico City, San Antonio, and Oakland. The North American leg will culminate at Los Angeles’ BMO Stadium, where J-Hope will make history as the first Korean solo artist to headline a U.S. stadium, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Following North America, J-Hope’s Hope on the Stage tour will continue in Asia, with confirmed stops in the Philippines and Singapore. Additional cities will be announced later.

Although this is J-Hope’s first full solo tour, he is no stranger to solo performances. In 2022, he made history as the first Korean artist to headline the prestigious Lollapalooza festival in Chicago.

For ARMY, J-Hope’s loyal fanbase, there will also be a chance to experience the tour live-streamed from the Seoul shows on Hybe’s fan platform, Weverse. While it hasn’t been confirmed whether other stops will be streamed, fans are eagerly anticipating this unique opportunity.

The Hope on the Stage tour represents a significant moment for BTS members as they continue to pursue their solo careers following their mandatory military service. J-Hope is the second member of BTS to return after his service, following Jin, the group’s eldest member, who completed his enlistment in June 2024. Fans are hopeful for a full reunion of BTS later this year when all members have completed their service.

Pre-sale tickets for the tour will be available to official ARMY fan club members on January 22, with general sales starting the next day, January 23. Tickets for the Los Angeles show will be announced later due to ongoing wildfires in the area.
