Complaint Filed Against Rana Daggubati, D Venkatesh, And Family Over Property Dispute

A complaint has been lodged against prominent Telugu film personalities, including actor Rana Daggubati, producer D Venkatesh, and their family members, over allegations related to the demolition of a property in Filmnagar, Hyderabad.

The accused in the case include film producer D Suresh Babu, his brother and actor D Venkatesh, and Suresh Babu’s sons, Rana Daggubati and Abhiram Daggubati.

The complainant, K Nandukumar, has alleged that the accused conspired to illegally take over a leased property that he had been occupying. Nandukumar claimed he had invested approximately ₹20 crores in renovating the property, which he had leased from the accused in 2014. The lease agreements were reportedly renewed over the years.

According to the complaint, the accused “conspired” to evict him unlawfully, despite a valid lease agreement. Nandukumar also alleged that the accused hired “anti-social elements” to demolish parts of the property and issued threats to his family.

He further claimed that he had maintained possession of the property based on court injunctions. However, he alleged that despite these orders, the accused forcibly entered the property and attempted to demolish it on multiple occasions in 2024.

Nandukumar also stated that he had approached the police previously, but no action was taken.

The case has been registered under Sections 448, 452, and 458, read with Section 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), which pertain to trespassing, house-breaking, and criminal conspiracy.

The matter is currently pending before the court, and further investigations are underway.
