Tel Aviv [Israel], January 12: Israel issued an evacuation warning for civilians in parts of Nuseirat, central Gaza, on Sunday morning, following Palestinian rocket fire on Saturday.
“Terror organizations are once again firing rockets from this area, which has been warned several times before,” tweeted Col. Avichay Adraee, the Israel Defense Forces’ Arabic spokesperson.
The tweet included a map highlighting the specific areas that need to be evacuated.
On Saturday, Israeli air defenses intercepted a rocket that was fired towards the Kerem Shalom border crossing, a key point for the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
