New Delhi [India], January 12: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Virendraa Sachdeva has accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of “provoking” and “frightening” slum dwellers, claiming that the AAP leader is misleading people with empty promises. Sachdeva assured that under the BJP-led government, the poor would be provided with concrete houses.”The Prime Minister has assured that all welfare schemes will continue, and the poor will receive permanent homes. The Home Minister also emphasized that slum dwellers will be provided houses. Only the double-engine government can solve their problems. Arvind Kejriwal, on the other hand, makes electoral promises but does nothing to deliver,” Sachdeva said.He further criticized Kejriwal for allegedly instilling fear among slum residents by stating that their settlements will be demolished. “It is Modi’s guarantee that every poor person will have a concrete house,” Sachdeva added. The BJP has consistently criticized the AAP-led government for what it calls widespread corruption, inefficiency in implementing welfare schemes, and the failure to tackle rising pollution in Delhi. The BJP has even labeled AAP’s governance as a threat to the city, coining the term “AAPda” to describe the alleged negative impact under AAP rule.In response, AAP has accused the BJP of using “dishonest tactics” and resorting to “electoral fraud,” calling the BJP a “Galli Galoch party.”The Delhi assembly elections are scheduled for February 5, with results to be declared on February 8. The last date for filing nominations is January 17, scrutiny will take place on January 18, and the deadline for withdrawal of candidacy is January 20.
