New Delhi [India], January 10: Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived at the residence of BJP National President JP Nadda for a crucial core committee meeting as the party prepares for the upcoming Delhi Assembly Elections in 2025.
Earlier on Thursday, BJP National President JP Nadda convened a meeting with the Delhi Assembly Election Management Committee at the state BJP office, where he reviewed the party’s organizational arrangements and provided guidance for the election preparations.
Present at the meeting were Delhi State BJP President Virendraa Sachdev, Election In-charge Baijayant Jay Panda, Co-Election In-charge Atul Garg (MP), Co-In-charge Alka Gurjar, State Organisation General Secretary Pawan Rana, MP Harsh Malhotra, and MP Manoj Tiwari, as per the party statement.
Nadda first held discussions with the Delhi Election Conducting Committee (Chunav Sanchalan Samiti) and then met with various departments of the election management team to assess the preparations. He issued key instructions, urging the officials to ensure a historic victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the upcoming Delhi Assembly Elections.
Nadda emphasized that this election would present the people of Delhi with a choice between “Arvind Kejriwal’s lies and corruption” and “BJP’s truth and development.” He expressed confidence that Delhi’s citizens were ready to rid the city of “Kejriwal’s AAP-da,” and he believed they would choose “truth and development” in the upcoming polls.
The Delhi Assembly Elections are set to be held in a single phase on February 5, with vote counting on February 8. The deadline for filing nominations is January 17, nomination scrutiny will occur on January 18, and the last date for withdrawal of candidature is January 20.
