Sanjay Singh Slams BJP For Criticising Kejriwal

New Delhi (India), January 1: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh on Wednesday hit back at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), stating that their statements should not be taken seriously. Singh mocked the BJP for questioning AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal, who, he claimed, had provided free electricity, water, education, and healthcare to the people of Delhi. Singh emphasized that Kejriwal also introduced free bus services for women, built new roads, and installed three lakh CCTV cameras across the city.

“The BJP, which lies day and night, is now questioning Kejriwal, who has given free electricity, water, education, and healthcare. He also provided free bus services for women and improved the infrastructure in Delhi. The BJP’s leaders have become characters of a comedy circus, and their words should not be taken seriously,” said Singh, who is a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha.

He went on to criticize the BJP for its unfulfilled promises, including claims of creating two crore jobs, doubling farmers’ crop prices, and bringing back black money to give Rs 15 lakh to every citizen. “The party, whose name itself means ‘Bhartiya Jhootha Party,’ lies about these issues,” Singh remarked.

Despite the struggles AAP faced over the past two years, Singh expressed confidence that the BJP’s efforts against the party had failed due to the support of the people. He wished for a prosperous new year for everyone, emphasizing the need for the country to progress based on love and unity, leaving behind hatred.

Singh’s comments came after Delhi BJP Chief Virendraa Sachdeva wrote a letter to Arvind Kejriwal, urging him to give up his “bad habits of lying and cheating.” In his letter, Sachdeva made several demands, including an apology for promoting liquor in Delhi, stopping false promises, and improving the treatment of women, the elderly, and religious communities. He also asked Kejriwal to apologize for not fulfilling his commitments to clean the Yamuna River and to take responsibility for corruption.

Sachdeva further suggested that Kejriwal work on improving himself and refrain from indulging in “lies and deceit.”

Earlier, Kejriwal had also written to RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, raising questions about the BJP’s actions and whether the RSS believes the party is undermining democracy.
