Born in September 2024, little Dua has already filled the couple’s lives with immeasurable joy, and this Christmas was extra special for the new parents. On December 25, Deepika shared a glimpse of their intimate family celebration on Instagram, offering a close-up of their beautifully decorated Christmas tree. The tree featured three personalized baubles, each engraved with the names of the family members: Ranveer, Deepika, and Dua.
Deepika captioned the post with an emotional message: “(evil eye and red heart emojis) My heart is full (evil eye and red heart emojis).”
Earlier this week, the couple also introduced their daughter to the paparazzi, sharing a special moment with the media after months of keeping her photos private. Deepika and Ranveer invited photographers to their home, requesting no photos be taken during the meeting, as they wished to protect their daughter’s privacy.
The couple had previously revealed their daughter’s name, Dua Padukone Singh, during the Diwali festivities. They explained the meaning behind the name, stating: “Dua: meaning a prayer. Because she is the answer to our prayers. Our hearts are filled with love & gratitude.”
