New Delhi [India], December 25 : Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh on Wednesday launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), accusing it of spreading falsehoods following a public notice issued by the Delhi government’s Women and Child Development (WCD) department. Singh referred to the BJP as the “Bharatiya Jootha Party” and claimed that the notice, which rejected the existence of the Mahila Samman Yojana announced by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, was part of the BJP’s misinformation campaign.
Singh vowed that action would be taken against the officers who were allegedly pressured by the BJP to issue the notice. He asserted that the people would not believe the lies spread by the BJP. “Kejriwal has always fulfilled his promises as Chief Minister of Delhi, unlike the BJP, which has failed to bring back black money or deliver on their promise of providing two crore jobs,” Singh said.
He criticized the BJP for its broken promises and added, “BJP has gone mad. Their brains have stopped working. Action will be taken against officers who released this notice under BJP pressure. Kejriwal gave free electricity, water, education, and healthcare in Delhi, and these schemes, including Mahila Samman Yojana and Sanjeevani Yojana, will be implemented. This is not just a promise, it’s a guarantee.”
Singh also addressed concerns about the BJP’s record, emphasizing that it had failed to meet major promises, such as bringing back black money and providing 15 lakh rupees to every citizen. He assured the public that AAP’s schemes would be realized after the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections.
He further pointed out that Kejriwal’s government would offer free treatment to senior citizens above the age of 60 in both private and government hospitals, as well as Rs 2,100 to women. “Why is there so much hatred against elderly people and women? Kejriwal has worked beyond his promises, and this is his guarantee to the people,” Singh added.
Meanwhile, the BJP has accused Kejriwal of misleading the public and committing “digital fraud.” Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva stated, “Arvind Kejriwal is leading the people of Delhi towards digital fraud. There is an AAP government in Delhi, yet their own department is issuing a warning that no such scheme exists. Kejriwal is deceiving the people of Delhi.”
