Earlier this year, Sunny Deol confirmed his return to the iconic role he portrayed in the original, and now the cameras are rolling for the continuation of this patriotic war saga.
The film’s makers shared the exciting news on social media, posting a picture from the sets with a clapboard marking the start of production. The announcement reads: “The cameras are rolling for Border 2! Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 is shaping up to be a grand spectacle, boasting a star-studded cast that includes Sunny Deol reprising his legendary role, along with Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty. The original Border, directed by JP Dutta, was a landmark film that depicted the 1971 India-Pakistan war, introducing unforgettable characters such as Suniel Shetty’s portrayal of BSF officer Bhairav Singh.
One of the most significant moments in the sequel’s development is the casting of Ahan Shetty, who steps into the shoes of his father, Suniel Shetty, from the original film.
