Tarun Raj Arora, father of 10-year-old spiritual orator Abhinav Arora, has firmly denied claims of profiting from his son’s growing social media presence. Despite having nearly 1 million followers on Instagram, Tarun stated that none of Abhinav’s social media platforms are monetised.
No Monetisation on Social Media Channels
Speaking in a podcast with media, Tarun Arora explained that while their social media channels have been eligible for monetisation for some time, they have not activated it.
“Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube are platforms where social media personalities can earn money. Abhinav has almost one million followers on Instagram, but we haven’t monetised any of our channels. While the channels have been eligible for monetisation, we have not activated it,” Tarun clarified.
He also refuted claims of earning through promotions or events, specifically addressing allegations of promoting hotels in Vrindavan for monetary gain.
“If any hotel in Vrindavan claims we’ve taken money to promote them, it is false. If a hotel invites Abhinav and we believe it positively contributes to Vrindavan’s tourism, we may promote it, but without taking any payment. We have not accepted money from any hotel or brand,” he asserted.
Future Plans for Monetisation
While Tarun Arora acknowledged the possibility of monetising Abhinav’s platforms in the future, he emphasised that any revenue would solely fund service-oriented goals.
“If Abhinav’s channels are monetised in the future, it will only be to support service-oriented activities, such as helping cows or saints. None of the revenue will be used for household expenses,” he said.
Legal Proceedings Against Online Trolling
Abhinav, a spiritual content creator from Delhi, began his spiritual journey at the age of three. However, he has recently been targeted by online trolls.
Advocate Pankaj Arya, representing Abhinav, confirmed ongoing legal proceedings against YouTubers allegedly responsible for the trolling. The next hearing in the case is scheduled for January 3.
“A group of individuals has initiated a campaign against Abhinav Arora and Sanatana Dharma. We have approached the court to address this. We are prepared to take this matter to the High Court or Supreme Court if necessary. We have demanded an FIR against these YouTubers,” Arya stated.
Abhinav’s Commitment to Spirituality
Despite the trolling and allegations, Abhinav remains steadfast in his spiritual pursuits. The family reiterated their commitment to maintaining the integrity of his platforms, ensuring they remain focused on spreading spiritual values.
