A bus belonging to the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC), reportedly stolen from Anakapalli district, was recovered in Alluri district on Monday. Authorities have detained a suspect in connection with the incident.

- The stolen bus, operated from the Narsipatnam depot, went missing late Sunday night after completing its scheduled trips to Tuni. It had been parked at the depot for maintenance.

- Narsipatnam Circle Inspector Govindaraju stated:“This morning, we received a complaint from a person, named Raju, regarding a parked bus, which had been missing since the early hours of Monday.”
- The incident was escalated to the Superintendent of Police, following which three police teams were formed to investigate.
- The bus was later located abandoned on a route leading to Chintapalli in Alluri district.
Suspect in Custody:
- A man has been detained in connection with the theft.
