‘Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants’ Co-Stars Rally Behind Blake Lively Amid Alleged ‘Smear Campaign’

Washington [US], December 23 : Blake Lively’s co-stars from Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants—America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, and Alexis Bledel—have rallied behind the actress following her allegations of sexual harassment and a smear campaign led by It Ends With Us director and co-star, Justin Baldoni.

In a joint message posted on Instagram on Sunday, the trio expressed their solidarity with Lively after she filed a formal complaint against Baldoni. The complaint, submitted on Friday, accuses Baldoni of creating a hostile work environment during the filming of It Ends With Us, claiming that Baldoni orchestrated efforts to tarnish her reputation.

“As Blake’s friends and sisters for over 20 years, we stand with her in solidarity as she fights back against the reported campaign waged to destroy her reputation,” the actresses wrote. They further highlighted Lively’s bravery in demanding a safe working environment for herself and her colleagues, adding that they were appalled by the campaign intended to discredit her.

The message also condemned Baldoni’s alleged exploitation of domestic violence survivors’ stories to undermine Lively’s request for safety on set. “The hypocrisy is astounding,” they wrote, emphasizing how even women in positions of strength, like Lively, can face retaliation for standing up for their rights.

Lively’s complaint claims Baldoni exhibited inappropriate behavior, including showing her explicit images and discussing his past “pornography addiction” and the genitalia of cast and crew members. Lively also accused Baldoni of making derogatory comments about her weight and alleged that Baldoni’s team attempted to manipulate the public perception of her through a coordinated “smear campaign.”

Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, strongly denied the allegations, calling them “categorically false” and accusing Lively of attempting to repair her reputation with unsubstantiated claims.

In the wake of the allegations, Baldoni was dropped by his talent agency, WME, which also represents Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds.
