Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt and filmmaker Aditya Dhar took time off from their busy shooting schedule in Amritsar to visit the revered Golden Temple on Tuesday. Joining them was actress Yami Gautam, who visited the holy shrine with her son Vedavid in tow.
Several visuals from the visit have surfaced online, showing Sanjay Dutt, Yami Gautam, and Aditya Dhar offering prayers and seeking blessings. The trio, who are currently in the city for the shoot of an upcoming film, also graciously posed for pictures with their fans. Yami was seen holding her son Vedavid in one of the heart-warming images, marking a special moment for the family.
Earlier in the day, Sanjay Dutt met Punjab Minister Kuldeep Dhaliwal, who shared pictures from their meeting on X (formerly Twitter). The actor and the minister appeared to share cordial interactions during the meeting.
This spiritual visit follows Aditya Dhar’s recent trip to the Golden Temple last month with actor Ranveer Singh, with whom he is also collaborating. Ranveer had shared glimpses of the visit on his Instagram, captioning it with the uplifting words: “Jaako raakhe sayiyaan maar sake na koi.”
The ongoing project, which brings together Sanjay Dutt, Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal, has already generated considerable buzz. The film is produced by Jyoti Deshpande (Jio Studios) alongside Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar under the B62 Studios banner.
Following the success of their recent collaboration, Article 370, the team is back with yet another ambitious venture. If reports are to be believed, the film is inspired by true events from the history of India’s Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW) and is set during the golden era of Indian intelligence agencies.
The visit to the Golden Temple served as a serene break for the team as they prepare to bring yet another captivating story to the big screen.
