PM Modi Outlines 11 Pledges for India’s Future, Calls for Inclusive Growth and End to Dynastic Politics

Inspiring Vision for a Developed India by 2047 Emphasizes Zero Tolerance for Corruption, Women’s Leadership, and National Unity

New Delhi, December 15: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his speech in Lok Sabha on Saturday, presented 11 pledges for India’s bright future as part of the ongoing discussions on the 75th anniversary of the Constitution. Calling for inclusive development and a united vision, the Prime Minister urged both the government and citizens to honor their duties and rid the nation’s politics of dynastic influences.

“These 11 pledges are inspired by the spirit of the Constitution. Whether it is the government or citizens, everyone must perform their duties. Development should reach every corner and every section of society, reflecting the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas,'” PM Modi said, concluding his address in Parliament.

Highlights of PM Modi’s 11 Pledges

  1. Commitment to Duties: Citizens and the government alike must uphold their responsibilities.
  2. Inclusive Development: Every section of society should benefit equally from progress.
  3. Zero Tolerance for Corruption: Corruption must not only be eradicated but also lose social acceptance.
  4. Pride in the Nation: Citizens should take pride in laws, traditions, and the heritage of India.
  5. Freedom from Colonial Mentality: Move away from the mindset of slavery and embrace Indian heritage with pride.
  6. End Dynastic Politics: Eliminate “parivarvad” from political systems and prioritize constitutional values over self-interest.
  7. Preserve Reservation Integrity: Ensure that reservation benefits are protected for those who currently receive them, while avoiding religion-based reservations.
  8. Women-Led Development: Make India a global example of women-led growth.
  9. State-Led Growth: Foster national progress through state-level development efforts.
  10. Unity Through Diversity: Emphasize the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ above all else.
  11. Viksit Bharat by 2047: Work collectively to achieve the vision of a developed India by the 100th anniversary of independence.

Vision for 2047

The Prime Minister reiterated that the dream of a “Viksit Bharat” is shared by all 140 crore Indians and called for unity to achieve it. “With the foundation of ‘We, the people…’ we must resolve that by 2047, India will be celebrated as a developed nation. This vision is powered by the capabilities of our youth, the dedication of our citizens, and the strength of Nari Shakti,” he said.

Parliamentary Discussion

The two-day discussion on the 75th year of the Constitution began in Lok Sabha on Friday, providing a platform for reflecting on India’s democratic journey and setting a vision for the future. PM Modi’s speech called for collective action and a renewed commitment to constitutional values as a driving force behind India’s progress.

As India steps closer to its centenary of independence, the pledges outlined by the Prime Minister aim to chart a transformative course for the nation.
