Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], December 11: Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s daughter, Dua Padukone Singh, celebrated her third-month milestone on December 8. To mark this special occasion, Anju Bhavnani, Ranveer’s mother and Dua’s proud grandmother, made a meaningful gesture by donating her hair to charity.
In a heartfelt post on X (formerly Twitter), Anju shared a series of photos, showing her holding four braids of her cut hair with the caption, “Donated.” The next photo displayed the braids measured against a scale, followed by a picture of Anju beaming with her freshly trimmed hair after the donation.
Alongside the photos, Anju wrote a touching message for her granddaughter, saying, “Happy 3rd month birthday my darling Dua. Marking this special day with a gesture of love and hope. As we celebrate the joy and beauty of Dua growing up, we are also reminded of the power of goodness and kindness. Hoping that this small act might bring comfort and confidence to someone going through a difficult time.”
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, who tied the knot in 2018, welcomed their daughter on September 8, 2024. The couple introduced their newborn to the world on Diwali, sharing her name, Dua Padukone Singh, with a heartfelt message that read, “Dua: meaning a prayer. Because she is the answer to our prayers. Our hearts are filled with love & gratitude.”
The Diwali announcement brought immense joy to their fans, who had been eagerly awaiting a glimpse of the couple’s little one. Deepika and Ranveer also shared their excitement and gratitude upon becoming parents for the first time.
On the professional front, Deepika and Ranveer were last seen together in Rohit Shetty’s action-packed cop drama Singham Again, where Deepika plays the fierce Lady Singham, Shakti Shetty. The film also stars an ensemble cast including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff, and Akshay Kumar. Deepika is currently on maternity leave, focusing on her new role as a mother.
