Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], December 10: Actor Khushi Kapoor is currently soaking in the pre-wedding celebrations for filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s daughter, Aaliyah Kashyap, and her fiancé, Shane Gregoire. Sharing the festive moments on Instagram, Khushi posted a series of pictures from the Mehendi celebration on Tuesday, captioning the album, “Mehendi day.”
Khushi looked stunning in a vibrant pink and green saree with intricate detailing, accessorized with a green belt at the waist, emerald jewelry, and jhumkis. Her hair was styled in a sleek braid. In one of the pictures, Khushi posed with friends Ida Ali and Kareema Barry, and another featured her alongside the bride-to-be, Aaliyah, who wore a gorgeous dark green lehenga.
Another highlight of the album shows the groom-to-be, Shane, enjoying the music while seated on a dhol, matching Aaliyah in a green sherwani. The final picture captured Khushi in a mirror selfie with her rumored boyfriend, Vedang Raina, who wore a matching dark green kurta and pyjamas.
Khushi’s post quickly garnered attention, with her sister Janhvi Kapoor commenting “Unreal” and her aunt Maheep Kapoor dropping fire emojis. Khushi has been actively sharing moments from the celebrations, including pictures from the Haldi and cocktail functions.
Anurag Kashyap also shared a heartwarming picture from Aaliyah’s Haldi ceremony. In the image, Aaliyah and Shane are seen covered in turmeric paste and flower petals, surrounded by close friends, including Khushi, Ida Ali, and others. The proud father expressed his love with a heart emoji.
Earlier, Anurag penned a touching note reflecting on his relationship with Aaliyah before her wedding. The father-daughter duo enjoyed a movie date to watch I Want To Talk, directed by Shoojit Sircar. Anurag shared his emotional experience, describing the film as a “deep cleansing of the soul,” and praised Abhishek Bachchan’s performance, calling it his “career-best.”
Aaliyah and Shane got engaged in a private ceremony in Mumbai in May 2023, with the couple sharing the news on Instagram.
