Seven Cricket Legends Inducted Into ICC Hall Of Fame 2025 At London Ceremony

The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday inducted seven legendary cricketers into the ICC Hall of Fame 2025 during a special ceremony at the iconic Abbey Road Studios in London. The event celebrated the unparalleled contributions of these cricketing giants to the sport’s rich legacy.

ICC Chairman Jay Shah lauded the inductees, saying:

“Through the ICC Hall of Fame, we pay tribute to the finest players the game has seen—individuals whose remarkable careers have shaped cricket’s legacy and inspired generations. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to each of them on this well-deserved recognition.”


2025 ICC Hall of Fame Inductees

1. MS Dhoni (India)

  • Matches: 538 (all formats)
  • Runs: 17,266
  • Dismissals: 829
  • The only captain to win all three ICC white-ball trophies: T20 World Cup (2007), ODI World Cup (2011), Champions Trophy (2013).
  • Revolutionized the role of a finisher and wicketkeeper-batter in limited-overs cricket.

2. Matthew Hayden (Australia)
