Three unidentified thieves looted around Rs 29 lakh from an ATM in the Raviryal area under Adibatla Police Station limits in Rangareddy, Telangana, police reported.
According to the police statement on Monday, the incident took place in the early hours of March 2, when the culprits used gas cutters to break into the ATM machine. The thieves successfully stole a total of Rs 29 lakh in cash.
The police have formed four special teams to track down the suspects. A case has been registered at Adibatla Police Station, and the investigation is ongoing. CCTV footage from the scene captured the thieves using gas cutters to access the ATM.
